ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

  • Shopping   -   Leeds houses many fine shopping venues. For classy shopping, top places to head to are the Victoria Quarter and top-designer boutiques such as Harvey Nichols, Vivienne Westwood, Karen Millen, Episode and Primo. However, if you prefer a more down-to-earth type of markets, then visit the Leeds Markets and the Corn Exchange. There are also ethnic markets selling special produce in Chinatown near the bus station as well as in Hyde Park and Chapeltown.

  • Dining  - Leeds' famous Michelin-starred restaurants are Pool Court and Rascasse. However, other less formal eateries abound in the city center as well as in and around the Exchange Quarter. For ethnic cuisines, there's a wealth of delectable gastronomic delights from around the world to found from the eateries near the West Yorkshire Playhouse, at the top of Vicar Lane and around the Grand Theater.

  • Nightlife  - The area around the Corn Exchange is good to hunt for great bars. Other venues where you can party include areas around the financial quarter and the Headrow where top-class bars are in abundance. Famous names to look out for are All Bar One, Bar 38, Moderno, Revolution, and Cuban Heels.
